We also hear Keke trying to remember his trip to Liechtenstein to watch the Finnish national team win 2-0, preceded by a fine 2-0 home win over Bosnia-Herzegovina.

For family reasons, i.e. his keeps getting bigger, Rich has left the FFS team 😢 so we asked friend-of-the-show, Keke Myllari to take his place.
In the long-delayed episode (yeah we know it’s been 8 months!) Mark, Mark & Keke look back to late-2018 and Finland's successful Nations League campaign. We discuss the 2020 qualifying competition which started last weekend; a 2-0 defeat to Italy and a 2-0 victory over Armenia.
We also cover the 2019 Suomen Cup competition, with the group games in February & March 2019, progressing onto the first knockout round in late-March. Add-in some short news stories and a few new, hopefully regular, features and it's another high-standard Finnish Football Show.

Mark, Mark & Rich preview the upcoming Veikkausliiga 2018 season and marvel at the continuing impressive form of the Finnish national team; 0-0 draw with Macedonia and 5-0 win over Malta. The Huuhkajat are now undefeated since June 2017!
We also discuss the past week of Suomen Cup action (Quarter- and Semi-finals) and dive into Academy teams playing in the lower divisions and an interesting closed-season transfer.

Mark, Mark & Rich assemble to assess the end of the Veikkausliiga season 2017, which HJK Helsinki won by a mere 20 points! Sad scenes for our Keke, whose JJK Jyväskylä finished bottom on 26 points and were relegated to Ykkönen.
We marvel as the Rive-lution rolls on! Two draws Croatia 1-1 Finland & Finland 2-2 Turkey (World Cup Qualifiers) and a win Finland 3-0 Estonia (Friendly) And why IS Markku Kanerva nicknamed Rive?

Episode 16.
We’ve been a bit quiet recently, so episode 16 is a ‘Summer 2017 Catch-up’ and it’s a long one. Our Veikkausliiga update covers HJKs procession to the title and (probably) antics from Shefki Kuqi at Inter Turku.
We mark the passing of Palloliitto Chairman, Pertti Ajala. While on the pitch, the Huuhkajat team win two successive away games, both 1-0 against Iceland and Kosovo. Although the U19 team had a MUCH tougher time in the 2018 U19 practice tournament.
Finally, we turn to SJK Seinäjoki (again) for a managerial change (again!) With Jose Manuel Roca being shown the door, SJK are now onto 4th manager in one season. At the end of the podcast there is an interview with Lari Paski at SJK.
